Each year, for over 30 years, an artist, with whom Momart have an established relationship, has been invited to design a limited Christmas card edition for Momart’s clients. Since then they have collaborated on the ongoing project with many top British and international artists including Lucian Freud, David Hockney, Gary Hume, Sarah Lucas, Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst.

This piece is accompanied by the originally issued work description, printed onto card. The original letter from MOMART that accompanied the piece is also included - A great opportunity to purchase this incredibly well-observed and in-demand mini-sculpture, with the finest accompanying provenance.

Ron Mueck (1958)

One of the contemporary art world's most popular 'hyper-realist' artists, Hans Ronald Mueck is an Australian sculptor working in the United Kingdom. Mueck first came to public attention with his sculpture "Dead Dad". This portrayal of his recently deceased father - at roughly half-scale and made from memory and imagination – was included in the 1997 exhibition Sensation at the Royal Academy of Arts, London.
